Our Story
The best seat in the house is by the window.
Think about the last time a bird stopped you in your tracks. Maybe it was a bright red cardinal against the snow, a hummingbird hovering at the porch, or a pair of chickadees squabbling over the last sunflower seed. For a few seconds, everything else went quiet.
Moments like that happen in our backyards every single day. Most of them come and go while we are making coffee, reading the paper, or simply looking the other way.
BrightPerch was created so you never have to miss them again.
A feeder that watches for you
Each BrightPerch feeder has a weatherproof camera built right in. When a bird lands, it captures the visit and recognizes the species, then sends the photo straight to your phone. You can watch live from the kitchen table, look back at who stopped by while you were out, and finally put a name to that little brown bird you see every morning.
It runs on sunshine, so there are no batteries to change and no cords to run across the yard. You hang it up once, and it quietly does its job through every season.
Made to be shared
Our favorite part of BrightPerch is what happens after the sighting. A once-in-a-season visitor becomes a photo you can send to the grandkids. A morning ritual becomes something the whole family can enjoy together, even from across the country.
Nature has always been better when it is shared. We just made it a little easier.
What we promise
- Simple, always. If it is not easy to set up and enjoy, it does not belong in our store.
- Kind to the birds. Our feeders are designed to welcome wildlife, not disturb it.
- Real people, real help. Have a question about setup or the app? Write to us and a real person will get back to you within 1–2 business days.
Welcome to the flock
Whether you have been watching birds for fifty years or you are just getting curious about who keeps visiting your yard, we are glad you are here. Pour a cup of coffee, pull up a chair by the window, and get ready to meet your neighbors.
